Onam 10-15 years back

Eagerly wait for the vacation so we get to spend time with cousins, sleepover, talk about the silliest things and laugh till our stomach hurts
Decide “pookalam” patterns, wear new dress, hog on #onamsadya🍛 and gulp down glasses of#payasam😋 😄

Woke up to Sooraj watching football match
Took half an hour getting dressed in ethnic wear, took time to comb hair (which happens only once in a blue moon 😬) and stepped out expecting to stun the boys in the house

Sooraj: *doesnt even realize I was dressed*
Agu boy: No no no no..mama this dress is tooo big, please go change pleeeeeaaase!

Boys get ready to play basketball, so apparently I got dressed up to watch them play and eventually join them in the game 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I did manage to click 2 pictures so i feel much better
