So this year we decided to keep an elf on the shelf, hoping we will have a well behaved child in the house until Christmas. We discussed it with Agu.

Us: So this elf is going to watch you and if you act naughty he is going to tell Santa about it and your Christmas gift will depend on what Santa decides!
Agu: Hahahaa, silly Papa silly Mama, that’s not real, it cannot talk
Us: It’s not real but it can talk to Santa!
Agu: You are pretending right?
Us: No baby, elf will watch you till Christmas
Agu: *smirks at our silly Elf theory and walks away*

*after 3 minutes, when we weren’t around, we overhear his conversation with Elf* 🙈

Agu: Hi Elf, how are you? High five Elf!
Agu*mimicking elf voice”: You are a very sweet boy, I will ask Santa to get the biggest toy for you for Christmas
Agu: Thank you Elf ❤️
